Terms & Conditions

• "Software" means the SurveillanceAI desktop application and any updates, components, or documentation we provide.
• "Services" means the licensing, support, and related offerings we make available.
• "You", "Customer" means the individual or entity using the website, Software, or Services.

You agree to use our website lawfully and not to:

• Use it in breach of any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or networks
• Introduce malicious code or otherwise interfere with the website's operation
• Copy, reproduce, or exploit website content without our permission

Subject to these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software for your own internal business purposes, in accordance with the licence tier and number of cameras or installations you have purchased. The Software is licensed, not sold. Licence activation is performed via a signed licence key, with a 24-hour offline grace period to maintain operation during connectivity outages.

You may not, and may not permit others to:

• Copy, distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or resell the Software
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except to the extent permitted by law
• Circumvent, disable, or tamper with licensing, activation, or security mechanisms
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices
• Use the Software beyond the scope of your purchased licence

• You are responsible for the hardware, cameras, network, and operating environment required to run the Software.
• You are solely responsible for ensuring your deployment and use of surveillance, facial recognition, and recording features comply with all applicable laws — including privacy, data-protection, employment, and notice/consent requirements in your jurisdiction.
• You are responsible for securing access to the Software and for all activity under your user accounts.
• You are responsible for the footage, incident data, and any employee data processed within your installation.

Fees, billing frequency, and licence scope are set out in your quote, order, or invoice. Unless otherwise stated, fees are exclusive of applicable taxes and are due as specified on the invoice. Late or non-payment may result in suspension or termination of your licence.

The Software, the website, and all related intellectual property are and remain the exclusive property of Devlance SARL and its licensors. Except for the limited licence granted above, no rights are transferred to you. All trademarks, logos, and brand features are owned by their respective owners.

The Software may incorporate third-party and open-source components (such as object-detection and computer-vision libraries), which are provided subject to their own licence terms. Your use of those components is governed by those terms in addition to these Terms.

The website and Software are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will detect every threat or incident. Surveillance and AI-based detection reduce risk but do not guarantee the prevention or detection of all events.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Devlance SARL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, or for any loss arising from theft, intrusion, injury, or other events that surveillance systems are intended to deter or detect. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software or Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Devlance SARL harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Software or Services, your content or footage, or your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law — including privacy and surveillance laws governing the capture and use of video and biometric data.

SurveillanceAI processes camera footage on-premise; your footage and incident data stay on your own systems and are controlled by you. Our handling of information collected through the website is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

These Terms apply for as long as you use the website or Software. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you breach these Terms or fail to pay applicable fees. Upon termination you must stop using and remove the Software. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the competent courts of Lebanon shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless otherwise agreed in a separate written agreement between you and us.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the website or Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
